Annual Student Spectacular

Every year, at the end of Summer Term, all students get the opportunity to get dressed up, invite friends and family, and perform in a big stage production with professional musicians. For many students, this is the highlight of their year and brings the months of hard work to a satisfying (although somewhat nervous!) conclusion.

Since 2007, every year without fail, Alba Flamenca has produced the Annual Student Spectacular at the beautiful Churchill Theatre in Morningside.

For two days in June, Alba Flamenca and all of its students live and breathe flamenco performance – the first day for full dress rehearsal of dance moves, and stage entry/exit practices. Day two sees the nerves really start to jingle as you get ready to perform in front of an audience of more than 300 willing supporters.
